Foster Friess Pledges Support to Romney, Would Lik

Posted by admin - May 17th, 2012

Wasting no time, the Romney campaign reached out to Rick Santorum’s biggest donor, Foster Friess, on Wednesday. Just one day after Santorum dropped out of the race, Friess told ABC News the campaign touched base with the former mutual fund manager and he feels as though he must financially help Romney.

“There’s a lot at stake. Rick has said he is going to support the ticket and I will do the same,” Friess said. “I’ve had some conversations with his people, but not with him directly about how I can help.”

Politico was first to report Friess would financially back Romney now that Santorum is out of the race.

Friess was the largest donor to Santorum’s Super PAC, The Red, White, and Blue Fund and is a longtime friend who during parts of the campaign was often seen by the former Pennsylvania senator’s side Office 2007 Key, usually in his white cowboy hat.

He said that while he respects and understands Santorum’s decision he “honestly would still like him to be in the fray” and “still be competitive.”

“It’s his decision and when you have a child in danger and Karen was home alone with Bella Windows 7 activation key, it was all part of how he was thinking,” Friess said, adding Santorum really “hoped to win Wisconsin.”

“His strength as a campaigner is face-to-face meeting people and answering questions,” Friess said. “You can do that in Iowa, but Pennsylvania is so huge it’s difficult to run that campaign.” H added that Santorum was also facing the reality he would be up against a television ad assault by the Romney campaign in his home state.

He said he never encouraged Santorum to leave the race so the party could start focusing on defeating President Obama, but knows “he’s been getting that from other people he respects.”

Despite pouring in almost $1.7 million into the Super PAC, Friess says he has no regrets that his wallet is a little lighter.

“I’m extremely happy. Look what we accomplished. Look what Rick Santorum did for the party Windows 7 oem key, the enthusiasm for his message, and his message isn’t going anywhere, the message is still resonating. Those of us who believe it’s now our turn to continue to promote that message, having dinner parties and getting involved in the process.”

He added that his family isn’t sorry there is less to go around (reports estimate Friess’ worth at over $500 million).

“My son says, ‘Dad, I don’t have any problem with you giving away my inheritance because what’s an inheritance if we don’t have a country.’”

As for the always-colorful Friess, who got some notoriety in his own right for funding Santorum’s campaign and for making some eyebrow-raising comments during the campaign, he says he’s hoping to “fade back into obscurity.”

In February, he tried to make light of the contraception argument to Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC and it didn’t go over well.

“This contraceptive thing, my gosh, it’s so … inexpensive. Back in my days, they used Bayer aspirin for contraceptives,” Friess told a clearly surprised Mitchell. “The gals put it between their knees, and it wasn’t that costly.”

And this evening on Fox Business Channel, Friess said he told Lou Dobbs that he hopes Obama’s “teleprompters are bullet proof.”

Friess said he regretted the words as soon as he said them.

Thomson to address Parliament over HSU scandal

Posted by admin - May 17th, 2012

Suspended Labor MP Craig Thomson says he will address Parliament later this month about allegations he misused a union credit card to pay for prostitutes.

The Opposition interrupted Question Time on Wednesday to try to force Mr Thomson to make a statement in response to the allegations, released in a Fair Work Australia report on Monday.

The motion failed but Mr Thomson stood up in Parliament and said he would make a 15-minute statement at the next sitting on May 21.

“There has been a comprehensive and very long Fair Work report of some 1 replica watches,100 pages which we didn't have access to until late Monday night,” Mr Thomson said.

“It's appropriate I have time to go through that so that I can make a comprehensive statement, which is what I intend to do.

“This week is an important week in terms of being budget week.

“It's a week where families around Australia are looking at what this government can do and that quite frankly is what this week should be spent for.”

Mr Thomson is accused of spending almost $6,000 of union members' funds on escort services and about $270,000 on his campaign to become a federal MP during his time with the Health Services Union (HSU).

He denies the allegations but has moved to the crossbench after Prime Minister Julia Gillard suspended him from the Labor Party at the end of last month.

The issue has dominated Question Time in recent days, and on Wednesday, Mr Thomson's future.

Independent MP Tony Windsor says he is glad that Mr Thomson has agreed to make a statement.

“He needs time and seeing that report's only just come out and the appropriate time as he said replica watches, is when Parliament resumes,” he said.

“I look forward to what he has to say because there are some very serious allegations in the report and I think the Parliament and the people deserve to hear from him.”

Opposition frontbencher Christopher Pyne earlier moved to suspend standing orders over the issue, saying the HSU's members deserve an explanation.

“The findings that have been made by Fair Work Australia into the Member for Dobell are so serious that they must be tested in this Parliament,” he said.

“He should be required to make a 10-minute explanation to this Parliament because these are the most serious allegations a member of Parliament can face.”

Labor frontbencher Anthony Albanese said the Coalition's move would set a bad precedent.

“I said yesterday that if any of the allegations which are serious against the Member for Dobell are proven, he should face the full force of the law,” he said.

“But it is not up to this Parliament to determine what those circumstances are.”

On Tuesday, the to debate suspending Mr Thomson from Parliament for a fortnight. That motion was also defeated.

Despite being suspended from the party replica watches, Mr Thomson has pledged his continuing support for Labor.

Study iPad Accounts for Nearly 95 Percent of Tabl

Posted by admin - May 17th, 2012

There’s no question that the iPad is the dominant force when it comes to tablet sales. But when it comes to usage, the iPad’s power is even more impressive.

Aiming to get a sense for how powerful the tablet is, online advertising network Chitika looked at what devices it was serving ads to and found that it was almost exclusively Apple tablets.

For every 100 iPad impressions Best Tattoo Ink, Chitika is serving slightly more than one ad to a Samsung Galaxy and Asus Transformer Prime and under one ad to the Motorola Xoom, BlackBerry PlayBook and Kindle Fire. The Nook Tablet share is even lower, though clearly both the Nook and Kindle are marketed less as Web browsing devices and more as media consumption tools.

In total, the iPad accounted for more than 94 percent of ads What Are The Best Tattoo Machines, Chitika said.

It shows that not only are iPads outselling their rivals, but each one that is sold is also more heavily used, at least when it comes to Web surfing.

“Going forward the competition is going to be hard pressed to find a way to overthrow the seemingly omnipotent Apple What Are The Best Tattoo Machines,” Chitika said. “Not only do they offer a great product, they have the undying devotion of their enthusiasts.”

My Open Letter to My Mother

Posted by admin - May 17th, 2012

My open letter to all the mothers in the world,

The day that a new beautiful life is instilled into you is the day that your journey of motherhood starts. The journey is destined to be filled with many joys, pains, blessings, lessons but most importantly a new child who is ready and eager to explore all that the world has to offer.

I’m not a mother yet but I know the day that I do become one, I will look to my mother and ask her every question about motherhood. Why? Because to me, she is the best doctor, nurse, lawyer, scientist, educator, cook, detective in this world. Yes, my mother wears many hats but the hat that she is most proud to wear is mother to four beautiful children.

As a single parent I know that it hasn’t been easy raising four rugrats especially my two younger siblings. Most mothers will agree that being a mother isn’t the easiest job, but it is one of the most rewarding. Well changing dirty diapers, taking care of runny noses and doctor’s visits for chicken pox doesn’t sound rewarding but it’s not that bad. I know I’m going to regret this statement when I have to go through it.

I want to take the time out to personally show my appreciation and gratitude for all of the mothers around the world. You all inspire me in so many ways. I know everyone says that their mother is the best, but I got news for you, my mom is the best! I know that is something that she will hands down agree with.

She has gone out of her way to make sure that each one of her children has the basic necessities of survival and more. When times were tough my mother never let that get her down for long. She would always dust herself off and regroup and make things happen. We never had to worry about being hungry or not having a bed to sleep in. She always puts her children and family before herself without asking for nothing in return.

Each year as I get older the number of birthday gifts gets lower and lower however I always look forward to the gifts from my mom. Those are the ones that touch me the most. One of my favorite gifts from my mom was a sewing machine. I got it on my 16th birthday. During that time I wanted to become a fashion designer with the hopes of having my designs shown during New York fashion week.

That was also the time when I was beginning my college search. I told my high school teacher that I wanted to major in fashion design and she laughed at the idea of me choosing that career path because I had no clue how to sew. I told my mom about that incident and even though on the inside she was fired up she kept her cool and comforted me.

She told me to never give up on my dreams (even though she knew I wasn’t a good seamstress) and to never give up no matter what anyone says. She purchased a sewing machine for me and that was the day that I knew that my mom would always have my back and stand with me. Long story short, I didn’t become a fashion designer, however I am one of the most stylish people I know!

I can go on and on about how great my mom is but there is no need, she knows that I love and appreciate everything that she does for me and my siblings. At the end of the day she is a great mother and I love her.

Once again, thanks mom and all the mothers around the world. Thanks for all that you do for your children and family. We appreciate it all. I speak for all the people in the world when I say, Happy Mother’s Day!!!

The famous quote that says, “it takes a village to raise a child,” well, yes at times it may, but to me it takes a strong, dedicated and powerful woman to raise a child. I want to dedicate this article to my beautiful mother, Annette Okafor my aunts Janet Neal, Bernice Lucas Tattooing Machines, Joan Taylor, Mary Louise Johnson, Loretta Taylor Tattoo Machines Kits, Lily Taylor and all of my cousins who are mothers and those who don’t have children but still contributes to the life of my younger cousins.

I want to also dedicate this article to my late grandmother Henrietta Fox Taylor. I never had the chance to meet her because she passed six years before I was born. Even though I haven’t physically had the chance to talk, hug or share jokes with her, I know that she was a wonderful person. My mothers and aunts always speak so highly of her. I want to say thanks, grandma Henrietta for raising a wonderful bunch of beautiful women whom I call my mother and aunts. You did a great job! I know that you are in heaven looking down on us with your proud mother smile. Each and every day I will continue to make you proud. You are one of the reasons that I’m here Tattoo Steel Machines, and I thank you. Thank you for your strength, you passion and love for your family. I love you and I hope to finally one day meet you in heaven. I can’t wait to tell you all of the crazy and funny stories that your children and family have done. You are going to love it!

Sincerely,
Catherine D. Okafor

Chicago Judge Candidate Arrested For ‘Stealing Si

Posted by admin - May 16th, 2012

“Stealing signs” on a baseball diamond is a major no-no, even if there’s little mention of it in the rulebook. It’s part of the game’s hallowed if unwritten “code,” enforced only by the most watchful opponents.

The rules Replica Hale Bob Dresses, however, are bit more strict and statutory when it comes to stealing signs — specifically, real life campaign signage planted on people’s lawns.

And that’s unfortunate news for allegedly overzealous subcircuit judicial candidate Carl Boyd, who, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune, was arrested the day before he won a March 20 Democratic primary when police say they caught him trolling the streets, ripping off rival Chester Slaughter’s campaign signboards and stashing them in his car.

Luckily for Boyd, the election went off before the story was made public and voters, none the wiser, handed him a decisive victory, with more ballots being cast for the alleged sign thief than the rest of the candidates combined.

Set to run unopposed in November, Boyd now faces misdemeanor charges of stealing the signs and a possible suspension from the Illinois bar.

Court hearings on the horizon, Boyd’s lawyer told the Tribune yesterday he is confident his client, “a great guy,” will be cleared of any alleged crime. Boyd himself has gone a step further, saying the cops lied in their report.

Whatever Boyd’s fate, he might find some comfort in seeing alleged actions take their place in the annals of American political “dirty tricks.”

This past season alone Buy Chanel Dresses, there have been no fewer than three reported instances of sign stealing ahead of tight elections or referenda.

Rep. David Rivera, R-Fla., a close friend and longtime colleague of potential vice presidential nominee Sen. Marco Rubio, was accused in September, 2002,  of running a truck full of his opponent’s mailers off the road just minutes before the deadline to deliver its potentially damaging load.

Rivera, never charged, was elected to the statehouse the next day. A decade later, he’s moved on to Washington, and in November is expected to win a second term as the Republican congressman from Florida’s 25th district.

Carl Boyd’s day in court — on the wrong side of the judge’s bench — has been set for later this month.

Will Land Rover abandon the Defender

Posted by admin - May 15th, 2012

The Land Rover Defender may not be sold here in the United States, but its presence in the global automotive marketplace is huge. It’s Britain’s Wrangler. Much like the Jeep off-roader or even the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, the Defender’s core styling and functionality hasn’t changed much over the past few decades Tattoo Supplies, and that’s just fine with us. However, it looks like the Defender’s candle has the potential to burn out soon, according to Auto Express.

Simply put, Land Rover does not have a concrete plan in place regarding what to do with the Defender. In speaking to Auto Express, the automaker’s Colin Green said, “If we get it wrong we are messing up one of the industry’s biggest icons Tattoo Supplies, and in that sense it’s a tremendous responsibility.” We imagine this is why General Motors has taken its sweet time in bringing out the C7 Corvette.

Currently, the Defender is set up to meet Euro V emissions through 2016, but after that, it’s unclear what will happen to the British stalwart. One option is to fit cleaner engines under the hood to extend the vehicle’s life, and the option of a complete redesign is still being kicked around. Auto Express suggests that an all-new Defender could be built on the same platform as the LR4 and Range Rover Sport, but it would increase cost.

Thankfully, Land Rover says that abandoning the Defender program is its least-preferred option.

Tender loins

Splayed on the operating table, staring at the back of a nurse scrubbing her hands, I was struck by the possibility that, in addition to its other challenges, a vasectomy might be a socially awkward experience. “Do you need to empty your bladder?” asked the nurse, who clearly found hospital English the safest language in which to address a stranger’s genitals. The clinic walls were undecorated, save for a lone medical drawing of the male sex organ, flayed to reveal its sober inner logic.

“I don’t think so,” I said.

“OK,” she said. “I’ll be right back to give you a shaving,” and left to do whatever nurses do before they apply razors to testicles. Two months earlier, in the pre-interview, during which it was determined that whatever I may have been told by my wife or the state police, I was under no legal obligation to be sterilized, the doctor explained that California law required a cooling off period between consultation and operation. On that chilly afternoon, he told me many other things about vasectomies but somehow failed to mention that they began with a good ball-shaving from a woman who didn’t look you in the eye, or say a word beyond the bare minimum.

The nurse returned, wearing the same blank expression but now waving a new disposable razor, which struck me as a cheap tool for a dear job. She worked quickly and joylessly, like a Marine barber. I wanted to be helpful but there wasn’t much to do, except to hope she didn’t flinch. In the vast silence, insane thoughts flitted across my disturbed mind.

Is it possible to shave something off by mistake?

Jesus Christ … What if I get an erection?

Would it be my last?

Maybe I should pop one off, just for old time’s sake.

There are times when the mind is a dangerous place to be, and this was one of them. The ceiling Buy Karen Millen Dresses, like the floor, was speckled linoleum. I stopped thinking and counted speckles until at length, she finished. Chucking the disposable razor, she said, “The doctor will be here in 20 minutes.”

The interesting thing about 20 minutes is how many more they can seem to be. One of the reasons I found myself on this table is that I hadn’t imagined what exactly was going to be done here. I now had time to consider the matter and ask myself a few obvious questions. For example: What the hell am I doing here? In theory Replica Herve Leger v neck, the answer was at hand. My wife wanted me to be here, and it seemed too transparently selfish to refuse. She’d endured three pregnancies, suffered the pain and indignity of three childbirths, changed most of the diapers, gotten up most of the mornings, and Discount Christian Audigier Clothes, on top of it all Herve Leger sale, given me the leisure to write many articles complaining about the inconveniences of fatherhood. The time had come for daddy to take one for the team.

This explanation had sufficed—right up to this moment. Now, with the doctor’s scalpel just minutes away, it was drowned out by a new sound, of a grown man screaming:

THEY’RE GOING TO CUT A HOLE IN MY JOHNSON!!!

I mean, why am I really here, stretched out and hairless and exposed and not knowing what to say to the mute lady scraping away south of the border? I now asked myself. What’s the meaning of this outrage? This operation wasn’t about birth control. It was about life control. I should have fought for my reproductive rights, like other men. A friend of mine, when his wife suggested he might go and get himself gelded, had just laughed and said, “What if I want a trophy wife one day?” Another had declined his wife’s invitation to a beheading by saying, “What if you and the kids go down in a plane crash?” Other men I knew refused on the grounds of rumors they’d heard about the operation’s side effects. “I have a friend who had it done and he couldn’t feel his dick for 10 months,”a guy at a dinner party told me, knowledgably. “After that I said, ‘No way.’ ”

And these were men who lived in Berkeley, Calif. Discount White Herve leger! Imagine the conversation in the red states, where men were men. One day someone is going to interview a statistically representative cross section of the population and write the definitive sociological treatise on the hidden debate inside the post-reproductive American marriage about whose loins were meant to be surgically closed for business. As that treatise has not yet been written, we are left to guess at its future conclusions. My own guess is that wives across America are seeking, OPEC-like, to control the flow of their husbands’ sperm while those husbands are struggling to keep the pipelines open. There’s a war being waged for control over a precious resource, but without correspondents. The only news comes from couples in which the male already has been neutered: These people of course always piously claim that it was never really an issue and the husband honestly never wanted anything so much as to become an It.

Alone on the operating table, I got myself well and truly worked up. Then, from  nowhere came another voice. “You’re being a dick,” it said.

Sweet Reason had intervened. “You are not being fair,” she said. “You agreed to do this and she never really pressed you that hard, except to remind you every two months that you had promised to do it, and to ask if you had scheduled the appointment.” I began to list all the good things I could think of about being sterile:

If my wife gets pregnant, I’ll know for sure that I am not the father. If some other woman gets pregnant, I can’t mistakenly be blamed for it.

Maybe it was my inability to think up a third item for the list, or perhaps it was the bright red flayed penis on the wall beside me, but now a new notion popped into my head: Flee! Shaved goolies and all, I could leap off the table before the doctor arrived. My car was a mere 40 yards away. Forty yards I could still dash, intact. A Man In Full. To seem heroic, while at the same time maximizing sympathy for myself afterward, I’d driven myself to the doctor’s office and was driving myself home. No one would ever know.

The doctor entered.

He raised my dressing gown Discount Herve leger strapless, took a perfunctory let’s-see-what-we-have-here peek. We exchanged pleasantries. If he had any sense of the mental turmoil he’d interrupted, he hid it well. “There’s something I’ve been wondering about,” I said. “But you have to promise me if I ask, you will tell me the truth.”
